What ever you decide on, just make sure it is comfortable enough to carry on your person for an extended period. From my experience, if it is too bulky or too heavy, it wont get wagged around as much as one that will carry more comfortably. Just remember that the one in your pocket or on your belt is a LOT better than the one you left at home! A chest rig would reduce 'felt' weight by distributing it over a wider area as it's supported by the shoulders. That would be my choice of carry method regardless of weapon when in the wilds. I'm going with the G19 and 147g bullets. I found two boxes of Winchester Lawman 147g I'd forgotten about. For carry I use an old military shoulder holster. The G19 fits in it well and it rides comfortably with my back pack. Will have two extra magazines put away. Thanks again everyone for all the suggestions.
