If it’s just guys—Sportsman’s Lodge in East Point. It’s not nice. But it’s cheap & convenient. Old German lady named Edda runs the place. It’s been there forever. Basic cabins on the water. Public boat ramp next door. Very basic. But if you’re just going to fish all day everyday, and just need a place to sleep & tie up your boat, it’s good enough. If you’re taking wife/kids or going for vacation, St. George Island across the bridge is way nicer.
Lock your truck doors around Appalachicola & East Point. Lots of druggies down there.
