This seems to be a common question on this forum so I just copy and pasted my answer from a previous thread.
I own a ‘22. 49k miles. Other than a dozen recalls and another half dozen tsb’s, it’s been trouble free, lol. That said, I wouldn’t buy another one, wouldn’t even visit the Toyota lot if I had to replace it tomorrow and I was a Toyota fan. I had a 5.7 prior and it’s a better truck imo, albeit very antiquated comparatively.
The ‘22 and later seats are not comfortable, the plastic is cheap, the truck is quirky when it comes to the start/stop function, the user interface is the worst in the business, it’s really just a bunch of small things I dislike that add up. It does pull better than the 5.7 and gets WAY better mileage.
I have been looking at trucks to replace this one. I really like the Ram and ford but I can’t get a V8 in the trucks I want. I really miss the V8 sound (actual, not the one through the speakers). I have been thinking about going back to something I can actually work on and have been looking for a nice clean 6.2 Raptor to no avail.
PSA If you want a Ram, Mark dodge has the best prices by far.
