FWIW, I have had 2 new GM trucks and both were solid. However, the 2nd one had a bad transmission from the get go. 2 days after buying it, the transmission began making horrible grinding/screeching noises. Chevrolet would not take the truck back or do anything about it. They told me to get a lawyer and sue if I must. Thankfully, the dealer did the right thing and put a new transmission in it. But that F you from Chevy customer service convinced me to never ever buy one again.
