How much are y'all paying for water?

I got a bill just over $40 for 3120 gallons. Seems high to me

You got your previous bills to compare it to?
Our sewer rates are higher than the water rates here.

That seems like a very average bill.

Water bill only (no sewer) for a house of 3 folks is typically around $65/month. Not sure of the actual consumption. Just know I enjoy having water and it’s worth $65/month

So you think drinking water in 2026 should cost less than a penny per gal delivered?

$14 to $15 a month just me and my oldest boy here at home. Was a little more last month, my toilet was leaking into the bowl. I noticed it late one Saturday evening. My work week is Sunday thru half day Wednesday. So was later in the week before I fixed it. Didn't think about a water bill. It ran it up pretty good though.

For those asking, yes i think it's high based on 3120 gallons. I'm not saying it's incorrect.

Yeah, North Baldwin Utilities. Back when I was married, it would run about that with a wife and two kids.

Water only, $45-50 , 2 adults in the house.

Mines high as crap right now due to watering the yard with the drought. Last one was $380. Typically it runs $30-40 with just me and the wife.

You may look at building a water catch system off your roof for watering.
$380 several months in a row you’ll pay for a system real quickly
