I hate residential wiring. It's the most difficult to diagnose. You never know who's worked on it and what they've done.

True, that's one reason I wanted it all pulled out and pictures. Not being there, is always hard. If those whites are capped and shoved back, then we know it's not getting it's hot from the light.

“Weak breaker” is always the go to solution on aldeer.
If I didn’t have stay home and tend to my wife I’d come over there and fix Jawbone. It’s probably not that big a deal but it can be complicated to solve via text messages.

Well, The Man gets the day off tomorrow. I decided I wasn't going to let a light switch defeat me so I went and took everything apart and started from scratch and dang they work now. No idea what I had wrong but I'd guess a couple of wires got crossed stuffing them back in the box.

Now on to finishing the shooting house walls I've been working on. I want to make this one a good one (by our standards) because it is likely the last one I'll ever build. It used to be fun and easy. Now a 4x8 sheet of plywood kicks my butt trying to throw it around.

Thanks for all the help. That is what makes this site special.

Not sure I figured it out as much as keep trying and you'll eventually find the blind hog's acorn.
