Dang, I know what those plugs are for and never thought of that last night. I'll give it a shot before moving on to the next step which is to replace the breaker. Wish me luck guys. This is virgin territory for me.
I would be surprised if the light switch was part of a GFI circuit. Even if it was, I would think they would wire the switch to the line side and not the load side??

While this is true at times I have seen bathroom circuits include plugs with GFCI and lights on the same circuit
