I've always been someone who likes to keep my vehicle nice. So when I pull into a grocery store, or a place like Lowe's, I park out away from cars. My girlfriend has to be as close as possible. She'll even tell me, there's a spot way up there. I just say, naw, we'll walk.
Anyone else do this?
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Same. Try to protect myself from door dings
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Yup. My wife will drive all over the whole damn parking lot looking for a close spot. I always park way out yonder.

Yep . If I'm in my Sunday truck, I only way I park up front is if it's an end spot , then I park to the outside , so there's no way a door hits me. Otherwise , it' s way out . I'll let my wife out in front of the store and head to the North 40.

Yep, especially driving a dually
Pulled up to the gym the other day and saw 2 people arguing and fighting over a parking spot...one of the closest spots to the entrance doors of the gym.

Send stupid that people drive around and actually wait to get a spot a little closer so they don't walk as far. Yet they go inside and walk around everywhere. What's a few extra steps outside?

That's biggest reason I park further, I can park and be in store instead of riding in circles looking for closest spot.

At WM I park in the same uncontested area every time. Always know where the truck is.

I try my best to never drive past the doors of any store we’re going in. Always a goat roping the closer you get to the doors. I park way out too.

Same, except it’s my wife.

I do the same. For the same reason. And I can't stand circling a parking lot for a close space just to save my lazy ass from walking a little. I'll pull into the end of the lot, preferably close to a buggy rack. And walk in. My wife would still be circling while I'm walking in the front door. I'm not scared to walk a few more steps and not have to deal with a bunch of fools.

If you think about the distance you walk inside a big box store while shopping, does an extra 100 feet of parking lot make that big of a difference?

I always park in the vacant "Pick up" parking spaces. If they are stupid enough to dedicate 38 spaces to pick up and only 12 are used Im parking in the area nobody else is.
