From there well either go to mcall, and right back up to sandpoint, or take 12 from kooskia to missoula and back to coeur dalene. Would that be a good trip or do we need to check out something in eastern Washington and/ or orgeon? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

My experience was 11 days landing in Rapid City, SD renting a car and going through the Black Hills onto the Rockies and going south to Jackson Hole (over-rated with tourist) and then over to Island Park, ID and then to Gardiner MT. Driving is time consuming out there because of the vastness of the land. Beautiful and hope to go back soon. Enjoy it, I call it God's art canvas for us.

We made that trip two years ago. Went from custer sd to cody Wyoming. Left there and back through montana to medora nd. Best trip ive ever been on.
