After buying plane tickets we started planning our idaho trip. Looks like some of the stuff we wanted to do is gonna take too long. We have basically a week. Well fly into spokane. Gonna go to coeur d alene. Ive always wanted to see that and the lewiston area. From there well either go to mcall, and right back up to sandpoint, or take 12 from kooskia to missoula and back to coeur dalene. Would that be a good trip or do we need to check out something in eastern Washington and/ or orgeon? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Ive been to glacier, it was in may and some of the park was still closed. We planned it out and it would take the whole week to make that circle from boise to idsho falls then to missula.. Well do it if its worth it.

Not sure if you ever been, but if I was that close I think the Redwood Forest would be worth my trouble along the west coast.

My experience was 11 days landing in Rapid City, SD renting a car and going through the Black Hills onto the Rockies and going south to Jackson Hole (over-rated with tourist) and then over to Island Park, ID and then to Gardiner MT. Driving is time consuming out there because of the vastness of the land. Beautiful and hope to go back soon. Enjoy it, I call it God's art canvas for us.

They have different levels of rapids. Some are slow floats, others are class 5.
