I posted this in another thread about The Sloop and thought I would continue it here, because we just went out to another local pizza place tonight with some friends... ... If you guys find some good local pizza, let me know. I've only gotten from Domino's & Marco's down there. So far we have tried: Papa Rocco's (Crust could have been more well done and it would have been better. Lots of locals there and the happy hour drinks were cheap.)) Tuscany (It's an Italian restaurant, and the pizza there was really good. Nice atmosphere too.) Nona's (It was pretty good, just a basic place where you order in the front and then sit down. Wine and beer is all that's served.) We're trying Crico's next. It's supposed to be pretty good. Well we ended up going to Brick Oven in Foley tonight because we were invited there by some friends. They had the calzones and Boho and I had the 16" Meatza pizza and the side salads. Our pizza was $22 and the salads were $6. We had beer and wine too. No liquor is served there. The pizza there is the best we have had in Gulf Shores yet. It's really good. Crust is thin, but with a nice chewy edge to it. Sauce is perfect. Lots of toppings, but it still handles well. 3 words... Wood Fired Pizza. We loved it. We will go back. Still haven't tried Crico's yet. ![[Linked Image from live.staticflickr.com]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55208479639_26bbee7827_4k.jpg)

Like it when the pepperoni is crispy on the edge. That's a good looking pie I'm not kidding when I say it was possibly the best pie we have had down here so far. I would put it up against any pizza in Birmingham and there's some good pizza in Birmingham. What made it even better was that my buddy paid for it all. Just Boho and I had three draft beers, 2 glasses of wine, 2 salads (Which were really good too.) and a 16" pizza.

Putting this place on my list. Thanks. The google reviews are very positive, but I tend to put more trust in a fellow Aldeerian's review.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Not in GS, but Villaggio in OB if you want a good outside atmosphere on a cool evening. Get a couple dozen wood fired oysters to start off with.

Just down the road in Perdido Key, is Lillian Pizza. Doesn't look like much when you pull up, but the food is Great!
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

We tried Lillian’s twice, we personally didn’t like it. It’s been there a while though, so it has a following.

Not Gulf Shores, but if you're ever in Pensacola, Founaris Brothers is the best pizza in Pensacola. We had lunch there today. The Meat Lovers Pizza is our favorite. They have other stuff too. It's a Greek restaurant.
