Anyone here have any experience with Vexus 1880 or 1980 AVX aluminum boats? Is the quality good on these models?

They are top notch. It's the original Ranger team that builds them. When Ranger sold to bass pro, the team left and started Vexus.

Thanks guys. Good to hear. I didn't know that the former Ranger group is who was making them. They do seem like very well made boats. I've got it narrowed down to, Vexus, Avid and Xpress in that order. All seem to be well made, the Vexus just seems like a better finished boat.

Have a friend who sold his 2019 521 ranger & his 2022 198p after running nothing but ranger for over 40 years, buying a new one every 3 or 4 years, after 2years of owning a vexus 2080 he loves it.

They are decent boats, but depending on your style of fishing, I would just go with a Bass Tracker for the difference in price. Quality on the lower end side of Vexus leaves little to be desired IMHO. I like my boat, but if I had it to do over again I would've bought the top end Bass Tracker vs the lower end Vexus.

Thanks for the info fellas. Decided to go with the AVX 1880. Got to hurry up and wait for it now.
