Even if you aren’t wild about a tower on your place, they’ll probably just pay your neighbors to put one there. Yep. We get $800/month which is a little higher than their first offer. We knew they were looking at two other properties in the area so we were not going to try and run the price up, even though we had the better site. This was done to help provide monthly income for my Mom after Dad passed. We would rather have $800 for her than $0.

I can assure that is not the case for a typical rural site. Unless you own all the land, they can pull up to your neighbors trailer that is caving in and offer anything and they’ll take it.
