Grandson was supposed to go with me and the other one with my son-in-law. My partner did not want to get out of bed though he is 13. Anyway he missed a show of strutting and drumming. Dead at 615

Congrats Kyles! I heard one a few times early but I am still not sure where he is.

Should of killed one this morning. Couldn't decide if he was close enough or not. He ended up getting nervous and leaving

Called one in twice. Second time I had him at 20 yards for at least 30 minutes but he never got out from behind a bush. He finally eased back a little and I snuck up to the bush, stood up and missed him at 40.

In the forest this morning.

I appreciate whoever it was in the grey ford who pulled in as I was getting ready, asked if they’d mess me up and left for another spot.

There is still a few folks with good public land etiquette.

Nothing down in here gobbling this morning so I’m off to prospect a few more spots

Good luck fellas!

I’ve been fooling with this same bird since 6, and now he’s shut up. Debating whether to throw in the towel

Heard a couple of birds, but couldn't ever pinpoint their location. I think they were off the property anyway. Starting to get pretty warm now, at least for walking

My oldest son and I sounded like a couple of different hens and fooled one this morning. He’s a pretty good turkey. Anyone want to post a pic? My cell is (662) 315-3191. Thanks.

Didn’t hear any this morning. Made a setup in a likely spot for awhile to no avail. Went back to the cabin for coffee and made breakfast for my wife. Came back out about thirty minutes ago and planted a hen decoy in a foodplot and cranking on a box call sitting in the shade. Going to give it an hour then go fishing!

Took the wife this morning to try and get her first bird. Had one gobbling decent but he must’ve been with hens he wasn’t interested in us. She decided a biscuit was more important so we left him for another day
