I've always been an active person. Always up and doing something. As I've got older, 62 now, it seems like I can't sit still. Watching a movie with my girlfriend never goes well. I always find a reason to get up and either go outside or do something in the house. Even hunting these days, if I've sat for an hour or two, I can always talk myself into getting out a doing some slippin.
All my retired friends told me to stay busy, so I guess it isn't a bad thing.
Anyone else have this issue?
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Momma always said we had worms in our butts when we wouldn’t sit still. I agree I’m the same way. And when I do stop, my brain is always thinking of stuff I should be doing. We have ample opportunities at work right now to work very high paying security details on our days off. Basically all you do is sit there for 12hrs watching traffic go by. Nope can’t do it. All I do is think about all the stuff I could be doing at home. The extra money is nice but there’s way more important things to me than money. Now sometimes when I decide to put it in park, I lock all the air brakes and kick back with several cold ones and relax.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Same most days. My wife complains and says “Can you not just sit still and rest.”
I say “I rest by doing things.”

Absolutely couldn't sit still until about 5 years ago. Now at 60 yo, after averaging about 55 hours at work and working on my daughter's house on my off days, I have no problem sitting on my arse for a few hours.

I struggle with it too. Have to force myself to rest my feet. Even when I'm sitting I'm doing something productive most of the time.
I was informed yesterday, and correctly so, that I'm damaging my health again and a forced slow down was implemented.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Since losing several pounds and reaping other benefits of Carnvore, I suddenly have more energy. Today I mowed an acre, disassembled a 3 point spreader to replace the shutter plates, adjusted the Pat's quick hitch hooks on my tractor lift arms, put homemade Kroil on implement bolts that I want to unscrew in a few days and a few other things that I forget now. Tomorrow it's brakes and struts on all 4 corners of the Corolla and Saturday it will be rear brakes on the Tundra. Next week I won't be able to move.

Same here... I stick around the two days the granddaughter's here since it's typically an 11hr stay with her 12 year old mini cattle dog and now a 15 week on golden retriever. Other than that, I'm on the go. Tomorrow I'll hunt bears for the first time this year...
