Dr. Neil Schaffner in Auburn/Opelika. Hunter and fisherman. Actually paid for a lot of his med school by winning bass tournaments. He is absolutely the best endocrinologist I’ve ever worked with. He’s about 5”2 but a really big brain. If he is still taking new patients, I’d use him hands down.
Another ringing endorsement for Dr. Schaffner. Great doctor and even better man. I’ve known Neal and his family for years. Like Dr. B said, great outdoorsman and very generous with his property. Don’t know if he’s taking new patients or not but he would be my first call.
