I got a gpo centauri with illuminated reticle. For the money, it is a fine scope.

I just purchased a zeiss v4 6x24x50 for a Seekins Ph3 300prc from Redhawk Rifles, they have some good deals on some optics right now he was looking for a lightweight recommendation

I went with the Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 (30mm) CDS-ZL2 Side Focus Illum. FireDot Duplex Reticle Riflescope. I shot the gun this weekend and out of the box with 175 gn fusion bullets and its sub-MOA. Hopefully after break in i can find a good load that will be under or close to 1/2 MOA or better, I think with a 16.5" barrel that would be a fine rifle.

I have 3 of the VX-6 Leupold 171579 model, 4-25x52 CDS-ZL2 on 3 of my hunting rifles. Clarity, is awesome and the illumination i never thought i would need but really comes in handy at dusk/dawn. You can find these barely used for some terrific pricing, $1400 - $1800 or less.
I also have the NF SHV Illuminated 5-20x56 that is also AWESOME! usually around $1100 new, and used i have bough one for $900 on other sites...
Buy quality once and forget!

My head to head - meopta always beats loupy. My older model zeiss conquest beats loopy too. If you want higher end than that go swaro
Here is a shocker since i already proved it head to head - AI says meopta is better for last light gathering and clarity than loupy!! Exactly what my field results hav shown

You can easily shoot 1,000 yards with 10x. That was what we had to learn to shoot with.... for around 40 years. There are a lot better scopes out there today.... but people can't shoot as well with them. I still have my Unertl and 30/06 Winchester Model 70. I shot a match with it last month just for fun and almost won  Suggest buying a decent scope and spending your extra money on ammo. That's where most commenting on here and elsewhere miss the mark. Everyone's sort of like that guy at the Auto Parts Store working the counter. They proceed to tell you EXACTLY how to fix your car. Only major problem is... they've never actually done it. Yea... The End.
