Made a tangy sauce that was simply red wine vinegar and mayonnaise that paired well with the dish. The acid from the vinegar helps cut through the bacon and is really nice on the pallet. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/RZ4R2HxJ/IMG-8575.jpg)

"A BLT is not a bacon sandwich with tomatoes, it's a tomato sandwich with bacon on it." Sorry but I thought about this statement for awhile and racked my brain about it and I have to disagree. The BACON is the star of the show. If you want a mater sandwich then just make one and there is a reason the B comes first in BLT

For instance, when you make a ham sandwich, you don't call it an HLT. It's just a ham sandwich that just happens to have tomatoes, lettuce and whatever on it too. Don't get me wrong... A BLT needs good bacon too. And good mayo too. Mayo is a big part of the BLT as well.

I don't eat raw maters nor mayo, so I just eat bacon, mustard and ketchup sandwich.
