Met with the oncologist and surgeon at Children’s today. Having to go back up Monday to do more imaging so that they can make sure it’s not anywhere else in his abdomen/chest. After that he’ll undergo liver resection surgery on Thursday to remove the lobe of his liver that the mass is on. Going to be a pretty extensive surgery and recovery from the sound of things and he will have to have a central line in for several days post op. The piece they take out will be sent off for testing to make sure they have the correct diagnosis and then we will go from there.
