I made fun of them until I rode in my buddies self driving through rush hour traffic in downtown miami and it handled it like a champ. I'm not virtue signaling and acting like they are better for the environment, but I would like to have one now. II agree with you brother. You know I was a staunch, manual transmission, no frills, sports car, 4x4 Truck, Jeep kinda guy, but I have been impressed with the Tesla.
