Data centers require so much power that local grids aren’t capable of supporting it.
They are using jet engines powered by natural gas as massive gensets which is causing the noise.
$GEV is the big player in that space
I was involved with site prep for some of these generation stations on Guam in the early 1990s. Those constantly running GE jet engines put out a lot of noise. It was like being next to an airport where the planes ran at full throttle but never took off.
