What's cool is that it takes all the information from all the sensors and displays and puts it in one unified display showing you the bird's eye view of all of your surroundings. The other thing that was astonishing was that none of the people in either parking lot parked anywhere near what I would call "normal." Sensing this the Tesla, just kind of parked evenly between two rather poorly parked cars, so it's not necessarily looking at the lines, although they are taken into account by the sensors, but it also looks at the cars and kind of splits the difference. Some really smart people are working all this out.

The other thigs that was interesting is how it decides on a parking place. Our beach house parking lot is basically all gravel with concrete curbs all around and no lines whatsoever. Cars parked there can be very helter skelter, but the Tesla navigated them with ease too. When we pulled into Tack Jacks, it drove right past about 5 open parking spaces, but then it still didn't pick the closest one and it didn't get the handicapped space either, it must know the sign.

It has about 5 different driving modes from "chill" to "aggressive." It will break the speed limits without even asking you too.

I'm not easily impressed, but I was very impressed.

Looks like an area where that should be expected. No go into a real city and expect the same results.
