I’m looking for a truck now. If y’all see or know of a good used one under $16k let me know. Must be 5.7 240k miles or less price reflecting miles and 4door. Doesn’t have to be 4wd but would be nice. Cash in hand for the right truck.

Might not help you but I’ve got a 2008 that I bought new. It does have 290’ish K miles and the paint is oxidized on the cab and hood but runs like a sewing machine. I let my daughter use it for several years to pull her bumper pull horse trailer to barrel races but if you want a strong running truck, new tires, linex bed liner, and tool box, it’s a good one. If she doesn’t need it (checking now), I’d like to get it off the books.

Avoid the 07 5.7L v8. The earliest production models had some issues..only like 100k trucks in that first year, but they had serious issues, after that, they are good to go

FYI. Mine is a 2007 with 199,000 and no trouble. Tons of power. There were some 07’s that had
engine/cam issues early on. Those are all weeded out by now. I would not be afraid of any 07’s now.

Nothing wrong with the 07 Tundra 5.7 Plenty of them running around with a million miles and well documented. Mine has 257,000 I'd go cross country now in it. Put a RAD in it and a starter. Been the best truck I've ever owned.
