I had a couple Foreigner and a Foghat 8 Track tapes in my '66 Mustang GT Fastback that I wore out in the '70's.
I think I was always too busy chasing split tails to ever make a mix tape. Now I have to ask what made you get rid of the Mustang? 66 fastback was a heck of a nice car I sold to a friend so I could by a 1971 Olds 442 with a 455 Super Duty motor in it pushing 550ft/lbs of torque. Fastest car I have ever been in before or since. It had a 3.73 posi-trac in the back and a turbo 400 transmission in it, and when you floored it, it was like getting shot out of a slingshot. Car was 100% bad ass. I was never out run in that car street racing. That '66 was a looker though. Dark blue with the light blue and white Pony Interior and Rally pack gauges cluster. Great car. I had it all the way through high school. Sold it in 1979 when I joined the Marines and bought the Olds when I got out of active service and went in the reserves.
