U.S. President Donald J. Trump in a post Easter Sunday directed at Iran via TruthSocial: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

I'm gonna just let that one rest till Monday.

I don’t think it will actually happen, but so what if it does? I have no problem with the less than presidential language with “this” post. I’d rather break out of the quagmire that’s inevitable on the current trajectory.

I put the language warning up there for the folks here that have problems with foul language.
I'm actually more concerned about the Praise be to Allah comment and how that may rub some of our allies over there the wrong way. I know its sarcasm, but I also I know how things are easily misunderstand on the internet.

Never have and never will. If you don’t believe like them then you’re an Infidel and ultimately an enemy of their beliefs.

I agree none of them will ever really be our allies. The problem is that some of them are thinking about kicking our military bases out of their countries right now. Oman and Bahrain are seriously thinking about it.

For what? Why are we even there? Mere months ago we bombed them and Trump said we “obliterated their nuclear facilities” and mere months later they are on the verge of nuking us? This whole military op is a farce. I’ve been hearing “2 weeks away” my whole adult life. This is just a combination of distraction from the Epstein files and Israel having our administration by the balls to do their bidding.

I agree… who cares about all those people, especially children over there. Surely they can survive without water, food, or basic necessities for an indefinite period of time. They’ll love us for it in the end, right? It’s exactly what Christ wants us to do, so why not. 🙄

Our military should be like a mean, trained, killer dog in a cage sitting by the diplomat.

The diplomats should try their hardest to resolve conflicts before they start.

Only after the diplomats best efforts have been rebuked should the dog be uncaged and allowed to release it's full capabilities to resolve the issue in the quickest and most lethal way possible.

Perhaps some folks would be fine sitting idly by until a civilized city is nuked by a bunch of folks who would love to see all non-Muslims dead or enslaved.

It's interesting that someone would carry a gun concealed carry around all over the place, incase someone tries to do something harmful to them or their family, but they don't want their country basically doing the same thing...

Do you really believe everyone in Iran wants us dead? My guess is the civilians living there are far more worried about their own day to day than a country on the other side of the world. That’s my observation based on the traveling I’ve done. If the administration can’t get control of the situation without taking out the infrastructure it takes for the people to survive, then all it does for me is scream incompetence at the decision making level, or something more sinister. This isn’t an action movie where we just go in and blow everything away with no regard for the real world consequences on innocent lives.

Forgive me also if I don’t buy into the whole nuke narrative after we “utterly destroyed” it last year. I also remember when Iraq had WMDs. There’s a narrative you and I are told, then there’s the truth. If we make it so the civilians in Iran don’t have access to basic necessities then we have lost our way.

Then again I’m seemingly arguing with someone who has no issues with the language and content of Trump’s post, so it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever agree.

Since the Muslims took over Iran in 1979 and established an Islamic Republic, that government has been screaming Death to America/ Death to Israel till today. If that is not enough to see what is happening to Iran, has not been brought upon them by Iran’s own actions and behavior then perhaps You are Ok with letting Iran obtain nuclear weapon and use it on Infidel’s as Iran thinks all non-believers in Islam should cease to exist. I would much rather take the fight to them on their soil and far away from Our soil to solve the problem of a Radical Iran.

Do you think everyone in Germany in 1939 wanted us and the Jews defeated and/or dead?

No. They didn't. Lots of them were probably decent folks scared for their lives and their families lives if they spoke out.

What did United States and our allies do to their country anyway? We obliterated that place.

Were we wrong then?

The fact there were major revisions made to the Geneva Convention as a direct result of WWII should answer your question. We learn from the past, or we’re doomed to repeat it.

This also isn’t 1939, and Iran ain’t Nazi Germany.

I agree completely.

Iran is worse.
