They've been beat up bad by a country they were supposed to roll over in a couple of months. And Ukraine has done all that with our weapons and money, but our soldiers have not been put in harms way.

This is not about nuclear weapons. The government can say it’s about nukes, it’s not about nukes. Iran has yet to test a nuke, and if they even had enough material and the true technology to use it, they wouldn’t do it. They’d be obliterated. They know it, and we know it. Israel wanted this war in the hopes it would completely destabilize the country and throw them into a civil war. If they are fighting each other, then they aren’t fighting Israel, and they certainly are no longer a threat. They just couldn’t do that alone so they coerced us to get involved. Unfortunately things didn’t pan out the way they planned and now Israel has decided to leave us with the bill.
Should’ve told Israel to have fun when they said they were going to attack Iran, while letting Iran know we aren’t signing on to that attack via back channels. Our politicians are bought by a country that we support with our tax dollars. Until we (the voters) wise up and refuse to vote for any politician bought by the Israel lobby, we will continue to spend our blood and treasure on fighting in the sand box.

See their “retaliatory” missile strikes last year where they communicated when and where they were going to hit US bases in a show attack. That’s not an action Islamic hardliners would take. The Iranian leadership is more concerned about keeping their people in line and raking in oil money. They’d rather fund the really hardline Islamic extremists than walk that walk themselves.

For a country that apparently is so ready to turn itself into a wasteland for their beliefs, then why have they not unleashed their “sleeper cells” on the US? They claim they have enough enriched uranium for 11 bombs, why haven’t they turned it loose? We have been told they would use it once they had it right? Why haven’t their proxies attacked the US since this has all popped off? I’m no muslim sympathizer and I don’t want us allowing immigration from Muslim aligned countries, but at some point you have to question the narrative that we have been fed in terms of Iran and nuclear weapons. This conflict is not about nukes. It’s about trying to help Israel eliminate a threat to their regional power. They want to have influence over the whole Middle East. They cannot do that without the US backing them. And right now we are playing right along. Spending our money and our resources, but to what end?
