Noticed on lurenet.com that their latest spinnerbaits are $10. Tackle Warehouse has some in the $15-20 range.
Um, no. Eff that. I'll use whatever I have.
I still have some 3/4-ounce and 1-ounce spinnerbaits with heavy wire made by Ed Hargraves and sold at Waterfront, back when Joe and Doug owned it. Those baits may be 20-25 years old. They still work. I think I have some 1/4-ounce of the same, too. He painted the heads alike so they're easy to identify.

Good luck finding a war eagle or Nichols in white or white chartreuse right now I’ve been in a few stores this week specifically for one as a grinnel destroyed my favorite war eagle last week and they are all pretty much out of stock. They have plenty of other brands but the war eagles are swiped. I ended up having to get a dirty jig brand and another brand.

I have gotten them through online places usually.

For those prices I’ll be putting new skirts on all of my old ones. Not giving $10-15 for a spinner bait that I gave $3 for a few years ago.

They don't make these anymore but they are by far the best spinnerbait I ever fished, and I fished a ton of them. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/MpxS7t6c/premier.jpg)

I still like the profile and style of that bait way more than anything Strike King has out in their current lines. I threw just the premier Elites and Terminators for a number of years before both were discontinued. Probably because they caught to many fish and lasted too long.
