Mandating that 50% of all domestic vehicle sales by 2030 be electric vehicles. This explain it clearly enough or do we need to go on with more examples?

"Under President Biden's administration, the primary 2035 target focused on federal operations rather than a 100% private market mandate. The Federal Sustainability Plan aimed for 100% of new federal light-duty vehicle acquisitions to be zero-emission by 2027 and all federal vehicles by 2035. For the broader market, the EPA finalized rules targeting over 50% electric vehicle (EV) sales by 2032, aiming for 50% of all new car sales to be electric by 2030."

I'm as well aggravated that none zero nata of the protected political class isn't in jail yet. Trumps only been president for a little over a year. Bondi is gone so let's see what happens.

The problem is that the political class is too firmly entrenched, to connected, and too protected, both politically, and judicially. Every issue, every day, is a knock down drag out fight to the death. With the three branches of govt, it is always two against one on every issue, making it virtually impossible for anyone in the presidency to be able to do what needs to be done. Term limits for all politicians and all judges, is the answer, but those same two classes control their own destiny and are the very same ones that never allow it to be brought up for a vote because it will cost them their jobs.

Would love to also see an age cap on state/federal politicians as well.
We as a society agree that after 65 that commercial Airline pilots have to retire due to potential safety concerns.

Meanwhile we’ve got loads of politicians older than the average life expectancy still actively being politicians.
I’m not saying I know exactly what the age cap should be but it would seem reasonable to say that we shouldn’t have politicians in their 90’s

Cognitive testing would be wise for ALL members of the House, Senate, Presidency, and SCJ'.s

TERM LIMITS are part of what's needed to clean up the raging dumpster fire we call the U.S. GOV.

Yeah i remember those days, waiting in line to get $5 dollars of rationed gas. Theres alot of similarities between carter and trump. Both had troubles with gas prices, both had troubles with iran, and both are democrats!

lol. I know the guy that owns those stations there at the Hwy 331/I10 interchange. Bought up every single one of them at that interchange over a 5-7 yr period. Gouges everyone for 25-30 cents/gallon, all day, everyday. Day he closed on the last one, the pricing model changed, prices jacked up and the additional mark-up has stayed there ever since. People think, "well all these stations are the same price" and they pay it. Drive north or south 10 miles and you can get your gas for $0.30 to $0.35 cheaper.

Funny thing is that once he did that, the Loves station 12 miles west on I10 at Mossy Head, raised their prices to match his and has kept them there too.

I'm not getting all tied up in the political weeds, but I don't see how we don't get slaughtered in the midterms. I'm afraid Trump will start signing checks he's taunted (like tariff checks) just to try to win. Then we'll have record inflation again. The inflation will kick in about the time for next presidential election. A democrat will win and everything will be blamed on them. 4 years, we do it all again. 🤢

This was at the Mossy Head Loves. But it was around $4.00 from Eglin all the way up to the state line. Alabama gas tax is about $.15-.20 less than Florida.

$3.70/gas and $4.78/ Diesel here. Always higher on and around I10.

My employer who is a S&P500 company, prices are going up 10%.
