Seems like a perfect morning to me, but the turkeys don't agree. A lot of them aren't gobbling because they are dead, but there's still turkeys around me and they are just being quiet. I think we need a good rain and some cooler weather to get them going again.

one bird only gobbled at an owl hoot 3x. answered one time on the limb to a call. Then nothing again. Had to go to work.

#3 gone around 745. Didn’t hear anything off the limb just walked to a ridge around 7 they like to use and sat down and called a little and all of a sudden they were 150 behind me. Ended up gobbling good

Started gobbling at 6:20. Multiple birds gobbling at each other until about 8:30. Got a few to talk to me, but couldn't close the deal.
