Dang... Weightlifting in the morning, long beach walk yesterday, went to the bar to hang out with friends, met some new friends, saw the Artemis II launch, played pool, challenged some spring breakers in the neighborhood to a push-up competition, hung out in the hot tub with Boho, and we were still able to make it home and fix us some really nice roast beef po'boys and it's only Wednesday! ![[Linked Image from live.staticflickr.com]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55183326621_46208b966d_4k.jpg)

Did you win the push up competition? No. One of the boys got 40. I was a little overconfident, so to make it harder for me, I put my toes up on a set of steps and I was already tired from bench presses earlier in the day. I only got 38. I could have squeezed out 40+ if I had just done a normal flat push-up. It was a positive encounter and got to share the importance of consistency and effort in exercise to help us maintain our younger fitness level as we age.
