I'm glad some of us weren't around in WWII. The folks at home had to suffer through a lot of "inconveniences" so we could defeat Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan. Perhaps we should have just let those guys do their thing so Americans wouldn't be inconvenienced with things like gas, butter and copper shortages.
"The Proteus Operation" is an interesting book to read. It is a book about an alternate reality where Germany and Japan win WWII. In the book the Germans and the Japanese control the entire world except for the United States, but it's only a matter of time before they come for us. All of Africa is enslaved, as is most of the rest of the world. Einstein and a bunch of other scientist figure out time travel and send a Special Forces team back to 1939 to prevent Germany from developing the atomic bomb. I'm not going to tell you about the plot twist at the end, because some of you might want to read it.
It's really good, but it's also sobering about what could have been had we all not pulled together as Americans instead of bitchin' about everything. Thank God the folks who lived through WWII were hardened people used to living through tough times.
PS: I didn't watch the speech either, I went to the local bar to hang out with friends, watch the Artemis launch, listen to some live music and shoot some pool. I’ve never heard anyone from that era complain about the war though they all knew times were hard and things were in short supply. They all understood that what was happening was best for them and the world No president before Trump was strong enough to do anything about Iran and just kicked the can down the road Apparently some have forgotten everything Iran has done to American soldiers starting with holding Americans hostage and then the marine barracks In Beirut all the way up until present day This proves that Hopf’s word are especially true today “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times

Why do you rush to comment on it when you did not watch it? Trust the plan What’s the plan? I didn’t hear one. The plan is to piss down your back, and tell you its raining, for as long as you beleive. If you stand up and say, "something smells like piss" , the response is always, its part of the plan. Just like im playing chess, and your stupid ass is playing checkers. Problem with that theory is .........we're at a checkers tournament! Business owner calling a S Azz on a public thing here. Interesting That is a saying I've heard several times, it was not directed at anyone. But as far as my business , ive built two successful businesses by offering top quality products and services. If you dont want to buy from me because of my personal beleifs, thats your loss not mine. Im too old to worry about that crap. But it is funny to me why someone would not do business with a local guy because of their personal believes, while drinking coca cola and anhieser bush products! ( and that list goes on and on)

... Apparently some have forgotten everything Iran has done to American soldiers starting with holding Americans hostage and then the marine barracks In Beirut all the way up until present day I was a field comm Lance Corporal with the 8th Marine infantry. That was my unit. Had I not transferred to the 4th Marine Artillery just prior to the 8th's deployment to Beirut, I wouldn't be here posting on the food forum. I know a bunch of those guys that died there. I broke down and cried that day like a little baby. 220 Marines, 18 sailors, and 3 soldiers died that day. I hope Trump keeps on bombing Iran back into the stone age...

I’m figuring a rate increase also print and burn. They also have the private credit collapse to deal with. Nobody is talking about that because it's looking as bad as 2008.

Isreal keeps targeting the people we are trying to negotiate with so that this war does not stop. Oil just went over 113. Anybody checked in on the Christians in Lebanon? They are getting targeted and killed and displaced by Israel too. Why won't Israel send any ground troops into Iran with our guys?

Part of the problem is trump can't shut his mouth and it keeps the nest stirred up, and it's nothing new. He needs to stop trying to make himself look good, get off social media and do the the job. Gee where have we heard that before lol.

I haven't seen a local business yet that's has a monopoly on a product and I'm in a rural area.

This image may be very relevant in November, time will tell. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/sg7mXS0f/IMG-7675.jpg) I wonder what happened to the graph just before the time period they “randomly“ selected to show. I already know the answer. There are force feeding it to some of you guys, and y’all are just lapping it up.
