It’s a top 3 sandwich of all time. Salvatore Lupo a Sicilian immigrant and owner of central grocery in New Orleans created this masterpiece in the early 1900’s I have had a few at Central Grocery. They were OK. When you take a little of the olive oil from the jar, spread it on each piece of bread, then add all the other stuff, then toast it in the broiler and it takes it to another level of tastiness.
