They were gobbling around 545/6 this morning here on the homestead. Had one come in at 706 and he knew something was up. Looked around from behind a tree and cautiously backed down into the bottom and headed west. Never presented a good shot. Heard a shot about an hour later on private property about 3/4 mile away that’s not inhabited or anyone should be on according to land owner that we keep an eye on for. Unfortunately I think he’s got poachers. We’ll be chatting later today or tomorrow. Guts telling me it’s poachers. Out of my control so I have to sweep it off the mental porch for now. My cousin's club had some guy pulled over on the side of the road poaching theirs in Cleburne Co
