" Tiger makes Golf better " .. signed, half of aldeer. You guy's are naïve. Tiger (when he was at least somewhat competitive) absolutely made golf better. It completely changed the atmosphere and even the other players played differently. That doesn’t mean anyone is condoning his off-the-course actions. He can be an idiot that makes poor life choices and still make the “product” better. The other players definitely played differently. They'd see him on on the leaderboard and melt like a popsicle. Choke job after choke job until Ellen took that 9 iron to him and showed the world just how flawed he was. Once they knew, and Tiger knew, how fallible he was, the mystique and awe was over and so was his career. Some like to blame it on injuries but he was still a force until that happened.
