Folks will tell you this is about "bend resistance". Bass will leverage on a weak or soft spinnerbait frame. Terminators were pretty tough. This. Those old terminators were pretty tough. If you really wanna test the durability of a spinnerbait just hang into a mud fish with one. I've never seen anything that can take a brand new spinnerbait and destroy like those things can.
