I understand what you guys are saying and I wish that the days of “my hurt feelings” are over but they aren’t. This is the world president trump or any president has to operate in. And we have to remember what the overall goal is. The goal is to bring about change. The way to accomplish that goal is to have support for the side that we believe is right. To have enough support for the side that we believe is right that change happens. By votes, by a strong economy, by people seeing a difference in how life is when someone we agree with is in charge. If the goal is retribution and hurting the other side because they hurt us, then we are missing it. I know it feels good, but that ain’t what I’m hoping a republican president accomplishes. Now if doing that helps him accomplish the right goal I am all for it. But it definitely does not.
