If Regular goes to $5 a gallon or more, the stations won't have to do anything. The price will limit what drivers can afford.

It seems like that is what should happen. I agree with that happening for a lot of people, unfortunately.

But what will happen is that folks will say, "if it went to $5 it will go higher". Or they will think that demand is so high that we are about to run out and then they will rush out try and top off their tanks. It will be like the stupid toilet paper covid rush.
