Yea.... That is what keeps me up at night rolleyes trapping IS successful.... where it is applicable. I see it every day. Great habitat + predator control = good turkey populations. Simple equation. Predator control in the average habitat in the State (crappy habitat) yields crappy to 0 results. I know burning in crappy habitat makes it better habitat for turkeys. I know trapping in crappy habitat makes no difference.
