Nice glass; but he said "light weight".

True. It is fairly compact though.

Good deal here and would be a great fit for your set up.

I bought one and now have to find a gun for it. Lol

Ought to tell you something there.

I have the highest end swaro, zeiss, kahles, and Trijicon scope made except for a z8 and I think the VXHD series is the clearest scope available. I have several VXHD’s and truly have a hard time buying anything else at this time. Yes there are other good scopes but the Leupold is in my opinion the best available right now.

I have 2 of the VX5HD’s in 3-15x56 and they are very good .Clear glass
One is on a Christensen Ridgeline 308 w/ 24” Carbon fiber barrel
The other is on a Bergara Wilderness Carbon in 308
Caught mine on sale for $1199 w/ Leupold PRW2 rings locally

Can’t go wrong with the Leupold

EuroOptic bought all the remaining Gen 1 3-15x44 VX5HD.

They have plenty, according to the rep I talked to at the DSC show.

The vx-5s are great scopes.

If i had to go lightweight, the accupoint 3-9x40 is pretty sporty.

Thanks UncleHuck, I picked up one a few weeks back. Hopefully this gun will shoot sub-MOA and will be a keeper.

The VX4 3-12- 44 for $598 is the best value in optics IMO

I've gotten the Redhawk "demo's" still wrapped in the celophane from the factory.
