The pests have moved in and have showed up 3 afternoons in a row. Currently shopping for traps. I’m leaning towards the remote drop door so that I can set it off when I actually have time to deal with them. Thoughts? Yep that’s enough to get your attention. I had and liked the Boarbuster trap (whole ring drops remotely). Another good option is the pig brig monitored with a camera but you don’t have the schedule flexibility you mentioned.

I’m going to look at a Jaeger next week. This group moved in about a week ago and are spending a ton of time in the food plots. Noticed a big decrease in deer and turkey pics since. I’m not having that.
I haven’t had a chance to go put some pressure on them this week. Usually shooting a few will move them away for a time.
I always have a handful hanging around, but never a group this size. I don’t have the land to feed and house 40 hogs.

3 of those are no longer with us. I needed a tommy gun to really put a hurt on them. Hopefully that pressure will move them on until I can get a trap.

Those rascals showed up everyday for a week before I could get over there and kill a few of them. Haven't seen a pig since. I left the carcasses on their main trails to help spread the message. The free meals are over

We bought a Jager Pro set up with the panels 5 years ago. We've caught and killed 200 or so with it so now we're basically just on a maintenance mode with trapping. Last year we never had a sounder to catch, this year we caught one sounder.
We like our set up because we can break it down and have it ready to go in a different location in 2 hours.
This is on a 1200ac tract
