That’s my position, as well. That’s why I asked. To me it is always looking for a reason to be butt hurt and then not dealing with it well. Older sis told me she has it, associated with autism (she’s just discovered at 63yo). She’s a hypochondriac, so Dr. Web (md) is a go-to. More than a few times I’ve heard “omg, do I have cancer?” because a symptom fits….per usual, no you do not. Poor me, ever the victim, I miss you being my brother (she moved 2000 miles away), I’m out here by myself (again, SHE moved 2000 miles away)…. We’re a product of our life’s choices and she has made all the choices to get herself in the position she’s in, but it’s not HER fault. I just can’t understand it. We’re only a couple of IQ points apart, but also 8 years difference. She didn’t ever have to work and was spoiled, I’ve worked since 10yo, worked for what I wanted and understood and appreciated the work ethic instilled me.
I just don’t get it….

Says it’s not a true disorder but looks like a learned behavior. May be true in worst case scenarios. It probably like many such new cases is a learned response from lack of accountability. Says treatment is basically talking one thru the bad behavior. I’ll ask when I get a chance but I’d bet you answered your own question in that scenario

It’s not a disorder, but a bad way of thinking. With most that suffer from it, the process is so ingrained that they never recover.

Vulnerable narcissist and autism spectrum run neck and neck on symptoms, to a point, then there’s a visible distinction in symptoms. I think, through logic and reason, she’s not autistic….and the nightmare of a conversation that will be. Pisser

To be fair Kyles, i am disappointed any time someone tells me theyll do something and they dont do it, or if someone says they wont do something and they go ahead and do it anyhow. Its not just Trump. Im disappointed every time anyone does that. Matter of fact, thats one way i weed out people im in any way associated with. If a mans word isnt any good, i had just as soon not fool with them. On the other hand, if a fella keeps his word, ill bend over backwards to try to do business with them or be their friend. Telling the truth means alot to me. Standing by your word means alot to me. And ill say one more time, i hope in 3 yrs we will all be sitting around talking about how great Trump was. Thats what i was fully expecting a year ago. I was pumped. But you are certainly correct, i am currently pretty disappointed in him. I really hope it turns around.

Wonder if this is like the “bad habit” I picked up from my father in law after working with him for 6 years… gripe complain moan groan etc etc etc… I caught myself at a point where it had made me mentally miserable… had to get a grip when I realized what the problem was… took over a year to figure it out. Most A type personalities have an inherent and genetically built in, automatic immunity to it, from the time they take their first breath. Weaker individuals are very susceptible and most all get it not long after birth and keep it forever. It would seem that there is no cure for them.
