I have the highest end swaro, zeiss, kahles, and Trijicon scope made except for a z8 and I think the VXHD series is the clearest scope available. I have several VXHD’s and truly have a hard time buying anything else at this time. Yes there are other good scopes but the Leupold is in my opinion the best available right now.
Hunting brings out the worst in people.

I have 2 of the VX5HD’s in 3-15x56 and they are very good .Clear glass One is on a Christensen Ridgeline 308 w/ 24” Carbon fiber barrel The other is on a Bergara Wilderness Carbon in 308 Caught mine on sale for $1199 w/ Leupold PRW2 rings locally
Can’t go wrong with the Leupold

EuroOptic bought all the remaining Gen 1 3-15x44 VX5HD.
They have plenty, according to the rep I talked to at the DSC show.

The vx-5s are great scopes.
If i had to go lightweight, the accupoint 3-9x40 is pretty sporty.
