It has become a rich man's sport. A lot of guys get themselves in financial trouble trying to compete in the major trails. You gotta have deep pockets even if you are winning. I could see that happening but there must be a helluva lot of rich men out there. Every Friday I ride through wetumpka and the hotel parking lots are full of $100k boat/trailers all pulled by $100k trucks fishing tournaments at lake Martin or Jordan.
