Two good friends of mine are dead because of home ladder falls. Both were in their 60s, in good health, retired military. The fall didn't kill them but complications from the injuries. My next door neighbor fractured his skull in three places from a ladder fall. He's Ok but still has problems. I'll toss a $100 bill at someone faster than a sailor to a Panamanian hooker to do my gutters and such now.
