I honestly don't care what happens anywhere outside our borders. Nobody else has a war that's worth drafting and sending American's involuntarily to die for another cause. We've spent enough blood over the decades. If volunteer forces need to go, so be it. That's a choice. But I don't want them spilling their blood outside our borders either.
Someone wants to bring war to our shores, different story. Our politicians are all to willing to send other peoples sons to die for a cause that doesn't help anyone. History has proven it.
If the politicians want a draft, it needs to start with mandatory front line boots on the ground service by the fucking politicians. Lead the way...
Otherwise, how about not starting any more wars and screw the military industrial complex.
Another aspect to this. We sent a whole bunch of good men to die in Korea and Vietnam. Decent men died while the skirt wearing hippie shits stayed home, married, raised shitty children that we are dealing with today. It thins the pool of good men at the expense of letting weak men reign at home. That will not ever end well. Ever.
