I’m about to reopen deer season on our place if those mfers don’t stop stepping in my coyote sets. Had to reset one trap three times this week and every time has been deer. Are you using coyote urine? I am. Think that’s pulling them in? I had the same problem when I first started trapping and someone told me to stop using the urine. I haven't had a deer step on a trap since I stopped using it.
