Don't know how much longer I can keep on doing this but won't give it up until I have to.

Took a canoe this time. Much slower than a kayak but easier to load up.

Definitely loaded but since is slow anyway might as well bring everything.

Stayed very warm. Slept absolutely great.

Set up for the evening.

All quiet.

Cooking breakfast. This is a great little set up.

And yes it was good.

People ask me why I go to all the trouble to do this - pretty well explains it.

40 years ago you would have been at risk of me and a couple dogs walking by.

If they ask you why, they wouldn’t understand.

Looks like a great time!

You need to get you a good push pole and stand up in that thing. You could make good time with very little effort. It’s a good test of balance also.

That’s awesome roadkill. I got to ask ya where you got the 2 green military issued bags from? I had a good friend that was a coast guard pilot that got me a couple of them 20 years ago and man they are tough bags.

Left over from my military time. They are parachute/flyer's kit bags. Very useful for camping and gear.

First off thank you for defending our country. Second, $25 for one of those is a steal. Yeah he told me they were issued pilot bags or something like that. That’s cool. Thanks for the link.
