Couldn’t the same thing be said for baiting deer? The attitude, ethic, and sense of fair chase is unlikely to change between species in many cases. I’m not surprised at all that a lot of turkeys are killed with a feeder within spitting distance. Even if the feeder is empty, they’ve conditioned those birds to be in that area and they will continue to show up looking for that handout.
