It's bad everywhere. You can't keep anything these days without it coming up gone. It wouldn't surprise me if they are scouting areas to steal from using drones. Was probably thirty years ago, before 35mm game cameras, there were several camps being hit in the Camden area. Took a while for the sheriffs department to figure it out, and it ended up being the electrical company meter reader. Not many people have a key to every gate, knows exactly what’s on the property, has permission to be on the property and knows when hunters are on the property.

I have some guys in Lowndes county checking for my stuff. I put the word out and told one of my good customers I'd give $2500 to whoever brought me my stuff and some extra to bring me the thief. He called some of his cousins up there and they said they may know which group took it. They are heading to some known locations to see if my stuff is there. Maybe I will get it back. Money will make people turn on friends and family!

Similar thing happened in Bullock county many years ago but I think it was a power line cutting crew member.

When I took the hit it turned out to be my buddies son. I was trying to finish him off when my buddy stopped me . Still never got my guns back. They were sold the night that he broke in and stole them.He did tell his son when he got me off of him that he should have just let me beat him to death.I was seriously trying. It was all because of the son being a druggie . I knew them all my life but the son just didn’t give a damn. The son moved off shortly after that and I never saw or heard of him after that again.

Has anyone looked into the air tag type devices? Be Good to at least put on the big stuff trailers and things! ' My thoughts exactly. No way I own all that and not have it trackable. Especially if it's not at my home. I sure hate it. Hope you catch them. I'll donate a shovel and a couple bags of lime.

Nothing worse than a thief - my camp has been hit twice - unfortunately the Sheriff in Greene County Alabama doesn't give a Rip about the idea of "Protect and Serve" especially to Hunters . The worst problem is getting over the feeling of being violated - the audacity of some POS on your property stealing your personal belongs and tearing up your Shit you worked hard for - You place for peace and happiness. It pisses me off like No other but knowing they will Reap what they Sow one day does provide solace !!
