I’ll be there for work next week. Never been. Anywhere worth trying in the area?

Davids catfish not bad

If you want to travel - Thomasville has Big Mikes Steak house - not cheap but pretty good. Open wednesday thru saturday for dinner only

Or - head to camden - best mexican around across from chevy dealership. All of it good but i recommend ask for “The Randy” = awesome

Rack and Reel there not bad and Gainsridge good - call to see if they open (may be thursday thru sat) - neat antebellum home type setting

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

Dang!! Too bad we won’t be at the camp. We could spoil you pretty good. Dave’s catfish sucks big time. AJ’s on 21 is decent. South 40 is really the best place. There is a little cafe on the square, I think it’s called Hunter’s Run. I’ve never eaten there but I’ve heard good things about it. In my opinion there’s not many good choices as far as sit down and eat places. Also I’ve heard the Mexican restaurant is pretty good if you like Mexican food. I’m American so I couldn’t tell you first hand about it.

Sweet Tooth Bakery is at the SW corner of the courthouse square. I eat there regularly. Very good to me.

Had to select when I would eat there. You come in hungry as hell from a hunt and skin, order all you can eat then fill up on the sugary coleslaw waiting too long for the damn fish.

We keep threatening to go try that Big Potato when we’re in town but we haven’t made it in there yet. Usually if we’re in that parking lot we’re on a mission. We either broke something and need stuff from tractor supply or going get something at Marvin’s. I’m going to make it a point to got next time we’re up there.

They moved it Marsh. It’s on the east side of the square now.

I had sweet tooth for lunch. Fried chicken, cabbage, rutabaga, turnips and cornbread and piece of cake. It was damn good. Appreciate the recommendation

Yes, Betwixed my Lil River and Burnt Corn places off and on during the year.

Many times I go to the Shrimp Basket on I-65.

I wouldn’t call any of these chit shack eateries “good” but rather “good nuff” 🤣😂🤣😂

A can of Campbells Sirloin burger soup, piece of bread, Banana Cream Pudding snack pack, and a beer pretty much out paces the menus of anything in the area. 🤣😂🤣
